Tim is a Venture Partner at Digital Garage, and the CEO & Founder of Media Mobilize, a media company and online ad network. Media Mobilize’s 100+ partners include GQ, Wired, The Los Angeles Times and Seattle Times. Previously, Tim conducted business development at Pocket (acquired by Mozilla). Tim’s investments include Workflow (acquired by Apple), Oh My Green, Morning Brew, Girls Night In, Bright Cellars, and The Hustle.

Tim is a distinguished honor graduate of West Point where he double majored in Environmental Engineering and Military History, and commissioned as an infantry officer in the US Army. Tim deployed twice to Iraq and earned a Bronze star medal. Tim left active duty in 2010 to attend Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and Law School graduating with a JD and MBA in 2014.

Tim is a board member at two nonprofits: Service to School and the Marine’s Memorial Association of San Francisco. Tim has published essays in Armed Forces Journal, Proceedings, Infantry Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, and The New York Times. Tim is a Council on Foreign Relations Term Member. Tim is a Pat Tillman Foundation Scholar and enjoys reading, running, and family time.

Neil is an early stage venture investor based in San Francisco, focused on companies building valuable solutions to hard, consequential problems. He focuses on technology companies in healthcare, financial services, and education sectors, as well as deep and frontier technologies. His investments include companies like Andela, Recursion Pharmaceuticals, Kudi, Unlearn, Decent, Solugen, Wayve.ai, and Vicarious Surgical.

Neil serves on the Board of Vicarious Surgical (a surgical robots startup whose backers include Bill Gates, Khosla Ventures, Eric Schmidt's Innovation Endeavors, and Marc Benioff) and as an Advisor to organizations like Tissue Analytics (a wound care and AI company), Upsolve (a nonprofit helping Americans file for bankruptcy), Copia (a technology company solving food waste and hunger), and Comar LLP (a law firm providing creative & objective counsel for the new frontiers of business). Previously, Neil was an Investor at Rothenberg Ventures, worked at Clinkle, and served as an Associate at Fenwick & West (the legal counsel to Apple, Google, Facebook, and Uber).

Neil holds a J.D. in Law from Stanford University, having previously attended Drexel University College of Medicine and graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Pre-medicine.
